<scp>FADM</scp>: A Feasible Approach to Disaster Management

Summary Motivation The scientific community devotes considerable attention to defining and implementing approaches for preventing managing disasters. article presents an innovative disaster management approach that considers societal, economic, environmental issues expectations, in order stimulate actors' collaboration at different scales (local, national, etc.). Purpose proposes integrates the characteristics of recent approaches—resilience‐based, sustainability‐based, responsible research innovation (RRI)‐based. Methods present a detailed overview evolution approaches, evaluating their identify most effective approach, as well analysis pillars characterizing resilience, sustainability, RRI concepts phases each approach. Findings suggests practices reduce/mitigate impacts disasters, classified according actors components. Policy implications First, implementation has be aligned with adequate policies or funding.
